About
I am Dr Marleen De Villiers. I have been curious about Being Human since a very young age. I have always known that I wanted to be a psychologist. I am a psychotherapist who has been specializing in the art of Deep Psychotherapy for more than thirty-five years. I have an International Private Practice where I work online with people from around the globe. My therapeutic work has its roots in Archetypal Depth Therapy, Transpersonal Therapy and Art Therapy.

I am also a writer and a published author. I am an exhibiting multimedium artist. I love all the mediums that I work with: Ceramics, Textile Art and Jewelry-making.

All aspects of my work are bound together. I consult with patients, I make art, I teach about what I know and what I have learnt, and I write books about that too.

An unknown fact about me is that I taught myself to read before I entered school. This must have been a sign that I would become a reader, a student, a researcher and a writer. I simply love words. Words are magical and they create stories. In my life and in my work I am a custodian of the stories my clients and my patients share with me. This is such a privilege.​

I have created the ACADEMY OF CONSCIOUS TRANSFORMATION to serve as a container for my work. All aspects of what I can offer talk to each other and even about each other.

I hold a few degrees, all relating to Education and Psychology. My academic journey resulted in a Doctorate in Educational Psychology. I will always continue to study, learn and to read.

I live, work and create in the beautiful Western Cape in South Africa.
